Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest”
Jack wishes to marry Gwendolen but he first must convince her mother, Lady Bracknell, of the respectability of his parents and his past, but this is not as easy as it sounds, as Jack has no idea who his parents actually are, as he started life abandoned in a handbag at Victoria Station
Mr Ken Dee and Mr Sam Dunning return to the Tivoli after two Pantomime seasons in “The Importance of Being Earnest” by the master playwright Oscar Wilde. Mr Ken Dee stars as the formidable Lady Bracknell, in this wonderfully witty classic Comedy of Manners.
Prepare to witness the clash between town and county in this brilliantly witty story of romance, identity, perambulators and capacious handbags!
