A fantastic FREE admission medieval Festival, including the re-enactment of the dramatic and bloody battle fought at Evesham for the control of the crown of England in 1265, featuring armoured knights on horseback, foot soldiers and archers.
Whether a devotee of Simon de Montfort or supporter of King Henry III - or just wanting to enjoy a great day out - come and enjoy loads of medieval colour and battle action, featuring 10 top C13th re-enactment and living history groups.
There's two battles per day (Lewes 1264 and Evesham 1265), a full programme of other displays, plus Saturday parade through the town. Wander through the medieval market and enjoy the other stalls. Food and refreshments available.
Saturday: Parade through the town centre at 10.30am, event 11.30-4.30pm. Sunday 11am-4.30pm. Parking (subject to capacity) on Corporation Meadow, adjacent to the festival.
