Walk for Parkinson's Welford Park

Join us with your friends, family and four legged companions for a beautiful walk at Welford Park to support Parkinson's UK.

There are two circular routes to choose from: a 2.5 mile walk or a more challenging 6.5 mile walk, around the beautiful Welford Park Estate, home of the Great British Bake Off.

During the walk you will cross the River Lambourn, climb the hill to see the impressive cricket pitch and explore the wonderful woodland, before crossing the fields and taking in the lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Dogs: Dogs are more than welcome on the walk; please keep them on leads throughout.

Accessibility: This is a rural walk so some sections will be on muddy, uneven terrain and include hills and slight inclines. We strongly recommend you wear sturdy and waterproof footwear with good grip.

Toilets: Portable toilets are available at the start/finish point. Please be aware that there are no toilets on either of the routes.

Car parking: Parking is available outside the farm buildings. There will be signs to direct you to the parking and registration area and a marshal to assist you with parking.

Refreshments: Please ensure you bring a drink and snack or light lunch with you.

Walk packs: your walk T-shirt and fundraising pack will be sent soon after your registration and your number and on the day information will be sent the week prior to the walk.

Registration: Please note online registration closes just over a week prior to the event. On-the-day registration will be available.

Adults: £15

Children (under 16): £7.50

Suggested sponsorship: £50 - to help us support everyone affected by Parkinson's.

All walkers will receive a Walk for Parkinson's t-shirt and medal.
