Sunset Session: Margate Meltdown

Start your engines for a monumental Meltdown at Dreamland.

On Saturday 25th May, Dreamland will present its second Sunset Session of the year to coincide with one the great social gatherings in British culture – the Margate Meltdown.

Every year, the Margate Meltdown sees thousands of Mods and Rockers ride out from the hallowed ACE Café in London and head down to Margate on the late May bank holiday weekend.

Both bikers and music lovers can head to Dreamland’s Scenic Stage from 6pm on Saturday, where Dreamland will provide the ultimate soundtrack to this mainstay of British culture.

Taking to the turntables from 6pm to late will be Don Letts, Jazzie B OBE and purveyor of Good Times, Norman Jay MBE.

Take a ride through the best soul, rock steady, funk and house in the open-air splendour of Dreamland Margate, and get your long weekend started in the right direction.

Tickets are £10 + booking fee in advance, and include entry and access to rides, with special discounts for members.

This is an all ages event, but under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.
