America’s Musical Journey, the new documentary film celebrating the cultural and musical heritage of the United States, will hold a UK consumer showing on Wednesday 27th March at the Odeon Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird.
Narrated by Morgan Freeman, America’s Musical Journey follows singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc as he traces the roots of American music visiting iconic cities including New Orleans, Louisiana; Chicago, Illinois; New York City, New York; Nashville, Tennessee and Miami, Florida.
America’s Musical journey sees Grammy Award®-nominated singer and songwriter Aloe Blacc trace the footsteps of Louis Armstrong through the colourful locales and cultures where America’s music was born. Visiting some of the most iconic musical locations in the United States, from New Orleans, Louisiana to Chicago, Illinois, America's Musical Journey explores the collision of cultures that gave birth to American art forms such as jazz, the blues, country, rock and roll and hip-hop.
