I am a sculptor, painter and printmaker.

I regard my work as a journey, the original idea sometimes changes direction and sometimes comes back full circle, it may be simplified or elaborated.

It is the journey not the arrival which is important. My inspiration comes from natural forms and structures, Ancient Art forms, Archaeology and travel. My love of colour as a painter can be carried through to my ceramic work by the use of Raku and Stoneware glazes. Works fired to Stoneware temperatures are suitable for the garden.

I find it fascinating that Ceramic Art is the Art of Primeval Elements
