Celebrate Midsummer Night with a concert by Fiona Mackenzie, one of Scotland top vocalists. You'll hear a fantastic mixture of classic songs, performed to perfection by Fiona's beautiful voice. An evening not to miss!

Fiona is one of Scotland’s top vocalists, regularly singing all over Scotland at prestigious events and venues. She performed as a featured soloist in the role of Cosette from Les Miserables at the Usher Hall alongside Kerry Ellis, Jai McDowall, Lorna Luft, Joe McElderry and Nathan James as part of ‘A night of movies and musicals’ with a 100-piece orchestra and 300-person choir. Fiona also sings regularly as lead vocalist with Paul Gudgin’s ‘Razz Big Band’ performing at a number of large-scale events, including the Kingdom FM awards, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for the University of Glasgow.

For this Midsummer Night’s Concert, Fiona has put together a special programme reflecting the 1920s and 30s when the house was at its peak, with the Sharp family probably enjoying similar evenings with friends and family. The repertoire will be varied and includes some classics of the time such as ‘It's only a paper moon’, ‘Stormy weather’, ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’, ‘Summertime’, ‘Mack the knife’, ‘Cheek to cheek’ and many more.

Fiona trained in musical theatre before going on to study Classical voice, gaining a BMus with distinction. As a specialist in voice, she was appointed the role of Lecturer in Voice at the Performing Arts Studio Scotland.

The concert will take place either in the atmospheric Great Hall at Hill of Tarvit Mansion or (weather permitting) on the front terrace overlooking the gardens and grounds.
