The School of GeoSciences of the University of Edinburgh has an established annual Planet Earth Distinguished Lecture Series where an internationally renowned natural or social scientist is invited to Edinburgh for a two-day visit to deliver a number of activities inspiring academics, professionals within the field of geosciences, students, and the local community.
This year Professor Yadvinder Malhi from the University of Oxford will be delivering his talk "The Metabolism of Planet Earth" on Wednesday 12th June 2019 at the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
