Blessed with a rich voice and superb sense of swing, Kevin Fitzsimmons explores songs by cool jazz artists such as Sergio Mendes, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mel Torme, Nancy Wilson and Ramsey Lewis. He also performs some inspired new jazz re-workings of songs from pop hit-makers of that period - from The Beatles, The Kinks and Burt Bacharach, to Ray Charles and Joni Mitchell.
