New Scientist Live will take you on an incredible, inspiring
journey of discovery with things that really do make you go ‘wow!’.
A great family day out, there are over 150 exhibits, interactive
features and events that reveal the science secrets that have changed (and will
change) our world.
Check out the
newly 3D printed Iron Man-like Jet Suit – flying tips and demos by its inventor
pilot. Join in the rocket building
workshop with the help of experts from the National Space Centre. Experience walking on the moon with the
spectacular interactive Museum of the Moon and watch the Apollo story in the
pop-up planetarium. For thrill seekers
there’s the VR roller coaster, animal lovers can get up close to the world’s
most incredible creatures and tech fans can get involved in AI, twitterbots and
have a selfie with a robot!
Kids can pick
up a Science Hunt as they enter the festival and weave their way round the show
collecting treasure, filling in fun facts and taking part in loads of activities.
Tickets
start from £31 for an adult day pass or £73 for a family day ticket (for four).
The Friday Night Lates ticket £20, allows
entrance for adults between 5pm and 9pm.
