The Old Bakery Artists are opening a gallery in the heart of the town where they started, INSIDE the Radstock Co-operative Store at 3 Wells Road to be open 10am-5pm every day from 4th November up to Christmas.  In an innovative and exciting move the two have cooperated to bring unique and desirable art work to suit all tastes, needs and pockets right to the doorstep of the consumer.

The space provided by RADCO has everything you would expect from a professional gallery, excellent lighting, storage, shelving to enable the group to present their work to its best advantage and help the buyer imagine it within their own home or indeed that of a friend.  Dedicated to specifically showing the work of The Old Bakery Artists, this eclectic group can show pieces ranging from watercolour, acrylic, oil painting, mixed media and more.  Covering such diverse subjects as wildlife, landscapes, realism, surrealism, abstracts, fantasy, something they hope for everyone.  Alongside practical, decorative ceramics and textiles.

As well as higher priced items, although often the work is more achievably priced than you might think, the group will be selling prints, mounted works, smaller items and original art cards.  The Gallery will be manned by the artists themselves so there will always be an opportunity to meet a working artist.

RADCO will be taking a small commission on sales but half of this will be donated to helping local charities.  This is going to be such a positive move for all and just in time for Christmas.
