Chorus Abilene is an American choir performing world wide in very selected venues.Hill of Tarvit was chosen as one of the special venues for their 2020 tour of Britain, among which are Coventry Cathedral, Stirling Castle and St. Giles in Edinburgh.
23 adult singers will deliver a mixture of both sacred and secular repertoire.The sacred selections will include standard liturgical Latin texts as well as USA spirituals and gospel songs. The secular repertoire will feature songs by American composers with texts by American poets such as Sara Teasdale and Emily Dickinson featuring Canadian and US composers.
