Now in its eighteenth year, the London Mozart Players’ annual weekend at the Grand Hotel is a popular fixture in the hotel’s calendar. The 2020 weekend showcases the talents of the London Mozart Players combined with wonderful accommodation, dining and relaxation in great company.

FRIDAY 7TH FEBRUARY

After checking in, Friday begins at 5.30pm with a welcome drinks reception in the Drawing Room, followed by a Wind octet concert in the Compton Room.

After the concert, dinner with wine will be served in the Garden Restaurant, with the LMP’s musicians in attendance. Dancing to the sound of the Simon Goodwin Band in the Chatsworth Room.

SATURDAY 8TH FEBRUARY

After breakfast, Sebastian Comberti will give a talk on Richard Strauss’ masterpiece Metamorphosen.

During the afternoon, tea and pastries will be served while Shelley van Loen and Palm Court Strings will play by the Great Hall fire.

There is also the opportunity to join the musicians for an open rehearsal as they prepare for the evening’s concert which begins at 6.30pm - String sextet concert in the Compton Room - directed by Ruth Rogers (includes a complimentary glass of wine during a short interval)

After the concert, dinner with wine will be served in the Garden restaurant with the LMP’s musicians in attendance. The Simon Goodwin band will play in the Chatsworth Room.

SATURDAY 9TH FEBRUARY

After breakfast on Sunday 9th February, take advantage of your membership of the Health Club and Spa before departing (we advise reservations in advance for spa treatments and lunch bookings if required)
