REBEL HOP - FORWARD MARCH!

Spring is on the way - so spend Saturday night listening to an all vinyl selection of uplifting reggae, rocksteady, ska, afrobeat, soul and funk - as you enjoy a choice of flavoursome craft beers and handmade pizzas. Also remember this is family-friendly event - all welcome!

For our March edition, we welcome two fantastic guest DJs. Tiddles, from Hackney, East London, is the lead singer of punk band Dogshite and a skilled selector of rebellious ska, rocksteady, reggae and dancehall. She runs a regular session at the Royal Sovereign in Hackney. DJ Richie B hails from New Zealand and is also based in East London. He spins records at venues in Brixton, Hackney and Leytonstone, and recently played at One Love Festival 2019. Expect crucial roots reggae, dub, rocksteady and early dancehall selections, past and present.

Resident DJs are DJ Sherrine (Mash Up The Dance, VDub Radio, Reggae Sunday) and Angus Taylor (VDub Radio, Reggaeville, World A Reggae) playing all kinds of soulful syncopated music, strictly on vinyl.

The monthly Rebel Hop Free Music event is part of a series of Saturday music sessions at the Goodness Brewing Company in Wood Green/Alexandra Palace - an exciting new venue with a fantastic INDOOR DANCING SPACE.

The event is completely free but the bar is CARD ONLY.
