Family Bushcraft - Social Saturdays

Each Saturday, we open up our Dronfield woodland centre to anyone who wishes to join us for some social bushcraft, try out or develop their skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

Whether you are completely new to bushcraft or have been practising a while and just want a local, safe and legal space to focus on projects, we’d love to meet you.

Each Saturday we run 2 sessions with our morning session focusing on bushcraft for families. Kids love to explore nature and with our ‘Social Saturdays Family Sessions’ you will have the incredible opportunity to learn outdoor skills with your children in a safe and rewarding way. By spending quality time in the outdoors with your children and with other like minded families you will make some great memories, meet new people and of course learn some fantastic new bushcraft skills which you can use whenever you are out camping, in a woodland or even at home in your garden.

On Social Saturdays there will be easy signs to follow, guiding you into the heart of the woodland and to our Main Camp area (approximately a 15-20min walk), where you will meet a TRIBE instructor who will get you and your children going on some fun bushcraft projects.

Maybe it’s shelter building, making a mallet, starting a fire without matches or learning about the wonderful trees, plants and mushrooms… Each week, we’re here to help you develop new skills and confidence in areas of outdoor living in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

Our site is in the heart of Holmesfield Park Wood, with a covered fire-pit area, seating, refreshments, compost toilets, first aiders, and peaceful surroundings.

How much will this cost?

TRIBE Social Saturdays are intended to get you excited and inspired about Bushcraft and to start or continue you on the journey of Bushcraft discovery and so we made sure these weekly sessions are affordable to all

Our standard prices are £10/child and £20/adult, however low income participants can use code ” bushcraft4all ” to apply a 25% discount to their order, making child tickets £7.50 and adult tickets £15. This discount is reserved for those who might otherwise struggle to attend, so please only use if this applies to you; not to be used in conjunction with site-wide offers.
