The Mysterious Case of The Poisoned Dart
The year is 1921 and Russell Sprout is having a Christmas house party. He has invited the young lady who he hopes to marry, Lady Samantha Hamwich – the daughter of Lord Hamwich, a wealthy landowner. Such a marriage would be very advantageous. Other guests include Roland Butter, a gambling chum, and a new face in town, and an adventurer from the colonies called Scott Chegg.
A surprise guest in the form of Inspector Willy Catchem arrives, and the party takes a sinister turn. Chegg has been found dead, killed by some sort of exotic poison. A feathered dart was found in his neck.
Inspector Catchem has his work cut out. Under the Police & Public Partnership Strategy, an austerity measure to help fund the Spanish Flu epidemic which ended last year, he is enlisting the help of everyone present to solve the crime … by 10p.m!
Dressing up 1920s style is encouraged.
