Additional Needs - Santas Grotto Meet and Greet

We all want to meet Santa and now we can... We are opening up our gates on the 20th December to create a safe and secure space for all those with additional needs to come and meet Santa Claus.

Our grounds will be open especially on Monday to offer a reduced number of tickets exclusively to those who find it more difficult than others to meet Santa. Santa will be waiting for you in his grotto to meet, chat and give you an early Christmas present.

Entrance into the grotto will be one family at a time to ensure you get that special one to one time with Santa. Our Santa's Grotto is situated on the top decking of our gardens. We are pushchair and wheelchair accessible up to Santa's Grotto, however the slope can be seen as a little steep. Never fear, our Elves and staff are there to lend a helping hand if needed.

We understand some children find it trickier to wait than others, so we have a few other things to keep you occupied.

Our resident Alpaca's, Nuzzle and Scratch want to come out and say hello! We will bring Nuzzle and Scratch into the cafe courtyard at 1:30pm and 3:00pm for your chance to meet and hand feed them. They LOVE carrots. I wonder if Santa will be borrowing them to join his reindeers?

With this ticket you are free to explore the grounds at your own pace we have a few different paths of varying ability. While on your travels, why not see if you can spot our fairies through the woodlands. Please wear sensible footwear as the ground is uneven in parts with stones and roots across it, because of this unfortunately our trails are not wheelchair friendly.

Lastly we have a small sensory light show in our stretch tent where family's can sit while they wait for Santa and think about what they are going to ask him.

Running of the day:

12:30pm ~ Our gates will open, you can enter any time from now and park on site. Cafe will be open.

1:00pm - 4:00pm ~ Santa's grotto is open. No set times in this time slot, go up when you are ready.

1:30pm & 3:00pm ~ Nuzzle and Scratch will come and say hello.

Our cafe has a wide variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks and cakes. A selection of hot food such as burgers, wraps and paninis will be available then entire time you are there.

Please bring a nice warm coat as our cafe is an outside venue with about 60% under cover.

This ticket is for those that want to meet Santa and receive a present. No limit on age. Carers, parents and support staff can enter free. We just ask that you purchase a free parking ticket if you intent to park on site so we can manage the parking arrangements.

We still aim to be a covid conscious venue so we still ask that you respect any guidelines that are in place at the time.
