Join us this for the last edition of the year as we roundup with a 2021 BHF Science Review of the Year.
BHF Associate Medical Director for Research, Professor James Leiper from University of Glasgow’s Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences will be reviewing our research successes of 2021 and looking ahead to the new year.
Named as BHF Fellow of the Year 2021, Professor Svetlana Reilly from University of Oxford, will be talking about her latest research on atrial fibrillation and cardiac fibrosis.
We’ll also be joined by Dr Richard Issit, Senior Perfusionist at Great Ormond Street Hospital who holds a BHF Post-doctoral Clinical Research Fellowship, will be sharing his ground-breaking new technique for ‘ABO-incompatible’ heart transplants in children.
