6-Day Spiritual Retreat In The Countryside Of Devon

Welcome to Surrender Retreats! We host spiritual retreats that aim to radically raise your state of consciousness in just a few days. The main focus of our retreats is to get you to surrender. Most people always desire life to be different in some way, and they then try to control life to achieve those desires. Whether you achieve your egoic desires or not, you will experience suffering. This is because life itself is not the problem; your perception of life and your state of consciousness is what is causing your suffering. Our retreats are designed to help you see the beauty and perfection of life so that you can completely trust life. Once life has gained your trust, we then help you surrender to life using specifically-designed exercises. All suffering is alleviated once one fully relaxes and surrenders to the divine flow of creation. This is what the spiritual awakening journey is all about; it is a journey of gradually surrendering your ego to the Divine. Then, when you have completely surrendered and are one with the Divine, life becomes extremely easy and enjoyable. Throughout the retreat, you will join others in completing exercises specifically designed to help you trust life and surrender to it so that, by the end of the retreat, you leave with a fresh new perspective towards life and the tools to be able to live life to the fullest. In addition, you will participate in ceremonies and exercises designed to help you relieve stress, release suppressed negative emotions, be more present, love yourself, release attachments to the material world, enjoy life to the fullest, and, ultimately, remember more of who you truly are.

Each day starts off with a Tai Chi/Qi gong session and ends with star gazing. Each day will also include an hour-long group meditation, where you will be guided to surrender and let go. Three delicious vegan and vegetarian Buddha bowl meals are provided each day to help you detox and feel good throughout the retreat. Each guest at the retreat will also enjoy a personal shamanic healing session to remove any negative energies or entities within their being, and to help balance their chakras. The exact timetable for the retreat will be given to you closer to the time as it depends on the number of guests.

This particular retreat is set in a lovely cottage among the tranquil hills of Drewsteignton in Devon (exact location will be provided to you closer to the time). There is plenty of countryside surrounding the cottage and a beautiful botanical garden just down the road. The cottage also has a swimming pool and a games room (which includes table tennis, air hockey and pool) for you to enjoy during periods of rest during the retreat.
