London African Gospel Choir on at 7.30pm

The London African Gospel Choir, backed their excellent band will perform Paul Simon’s classic record Graceland live from start to finish, alongside a collection of their own tunes. The choir’s re-imagining will take us from smash synth driven You Can Call Me Al to haunting acapella Zulu folk song Homeless and everything in between.

The London African Gospel Choir is a collective of African singers, musicians and dancers who specialise in African gospel music. They have performed with the likes of Emeli Sandé, Mumford and Sons and, Annie Lennox, recorded with Idris Elba and John Legend, and are due to headline their own show at the prestigious Barbican Centre, have toured the US, Ireland, France and Romania, and were a feature of the Monte Carlo Jazz Festival.

Peatbog Faeries on at 9pm

The band is made up of Peter Morrison on pipes and whistles, Ross Couper on fiddle, Tom Salter on guitar, Norman Willmore on keyboards and sax, Innes Hutton on bass and Stuart Haikney on drums.

From the moment they take to the stage, the mood is set for a no-nonsense feel-good atmosphere – each number sounding like an encore in itself. They tease unlikely combinations from the familiarity of instruments such as fiddle and highland pipes – blending with techno rhythms and soaring sounds and take this to another plain. The traditional styles that influence the musicians are still to be heard – and when an unexpected drop-down to those glorious core melodies sneaks in – the result is spine-chilling! In short, it rocks – and the audience becomes part of the experience.

Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 on at 11pm

The ultimate festival band, Barrowland Hall of Famers and SAMA best live act and Pure M Magazine best international act Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 are famed for their genre hopping, yellow pollen count of happiness , with shiny disco ball hats, inflatable unicorns and crowd participation, fun and laughter at the heart of their live performances.
