You Ukes Ukulele Club meets on Tuesday evenings at the Unitarian Hall, Meadrow, Godalming. Arrive from 5:45pm for tuning and a warm-up. Then, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, we learn at least one new song from our songbooks and then jam a number of others. From 7:00pm to 7:30pm, we learn an Improvers song. At You Ukes we believe that everyone can experience the joy of playing music.
We know that the Ukulele is the perfect 'entry-level' instrument, it’s accessible, fun and perfect for anyone who wishes to explore their musical potential. The Ukulele is the ideal community instrument, coming into its own when played 'en-masse', bringing enjoyment and smiles to everyone within earshot. We want everyone who wants to, to have the opportunity to enjoy and play this fun and engaging instrument.
