May Day Triathlon

The May Day Triathlon will take place in Winchester, at the home of King Alfred the Great, Kings School. We have charity places for the novice distance.

Swim: 200m

You will swim 200m in the shallow, beginner friendly 6 lane pool with only 4 people per lane. You will get to swim with people of similar ability, so don't worry about it being too intimidating.

Cycle: 11km

Cycle out of the historic medieval city into the wilds of Hampshire for a quiet and rolling ride, taking in the lovely small village of Sparsholt and the home of the Winchester Duathlon, Lainston House.

Run: 2.5km

The run is slightly hilly with one long drag down, out of the school and back up again. It is a combination of footpath and running around the flat school playing fields, with lots of opportunities for your friends and family to cheer you on!

As you cross the finish line you will receive your bespoke medal!

Charity Places:

We have spaces available for the novice distance and you will be invited to start in a dedicated Naomi House & Jacksplace wave in the morning and we will be there to cheer you across the finish line!

Register:

Our gold bond places are £20 per person and we ask each participant to aim to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200, which will go directly to Naomi House & Jacksplace. You must be aged 16 or over as of 7th May 2018 to enter the novice distance triathlon.
