Starters
- Daisy’s Warm Fig and Blue Cheese Tart (v) - A shortcrust pastry tart with fresh figs and crumbled stilton cheese, topped with walnuts and baked, finished on tossed spinach leaves with sliced beets and orange in a maple syrup and balsamic dressing
- Al Capone’s Homemade Potato and Leek Soup (v) - Homemade thick and creamy potato and leek soup, topped with a swirl of basil oil and served with sliced corn bread and butter
- Classic ‘hotsy-totsy’ Shrimp Cocktail - Shrimps bound in a Marie rose sauce with a little brandy and Worcester sauce, finished on fine cut salad with apple and celery and a dusting of crumbled egg and parsley, served with toasted croutes
Main Course
‘- Putting on the Ritz’ Christmas Turkey - Slices of succulent roast turkey, served with mini Yorkshire puddings filled with sausage meat and sage stuffing glazed with cranberry jelly, oven roasted potatoes and laced with a turkey stock sauce
- Festive Boat of Zucchini and Mixed Beans (v) - Curls of zucchini with mixed beans, feta cheese and wild rice filled into a filo pastry boat, surrounded with a tomato and lentil sauce
- Home ‘Nifty’ Smoked Fillet of Salmon - Lightly smoked fillet of salmon, a squeeze of lemon and a dusting of fresh thyme with Parmesan cheese, oven roasted and served with a parsley butter chowder sauce, curly kale and a quenelle of mashed potato
The above served with sautéed carrots, green beans and leeks, and roast parsnips and turnips
Dessert
- ‘Ossified’ Traditional Christmas Plum Pudding - A rich fruit and nut Christmas pudding served with stewed plums and vanilla cream sauce
- ‘Nots so Rhatz’ Homemade Lemon, Lime and Orange Cheesecake - Creamy citrus cheesecake on a cocoa and biscuit base topped with a seasonal berry jelly, finished on swirls of fruit coulis and vanilla sauce
- ‘The Bee’s Knees’ Cheese Platter - West Country Cheddar and Stickelton Blue Cheese served with celery, grapes, homemade date chutney, savoury biscuits and butter
