A Celebration of Jaguar Cars at Haynes International Motor Museum

26th Sep 2018, 9.30am – 29th Sep 2018, 5.30pm

Do you own a Jaguar? We are calling all owners to come to the Museum from Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th September to help us celebrate this amazing marque. As well as inviting owners and enthusiasts we are also getting our cars out of the Museum exhibits so you can get up close and ask questions about the vehicles on display in the Millennium Hall.

The celebrating does not stop there we will also have specific displays in the Museum Shop and Café 750 will have a special British menu with all the styling of the marvellous marque.

Let us remind ourselves of Jaguar’s impressive history and celebrate its many highs, as well as remembering some of its lows. There will be informal daily talks at 11.15 and 14.15 with the Museum Curator Matt Piper in the new display area.

“Grace, Space and Pace were three words associated with Jaguar in the manufacturer’s heyday but are arguably just as applicable to the marque today. The words Value for money were also closely linked with this brand and that ethos was very close to the heart of Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons.

Lyons produced the first Jaguar in the 1930s and remained at the company’s helm until his retirement in 1967. During this time he and his stellar team gave the motoring world the E Type, XK and V12 engines, XK120, XJ6 and several wins at Le Mans.”
