Debussy in the most velvety acoustic in Central London - this October half term!
Debussy pioneered music for flute, harp and viola. Join Trilogy Ensemble as they explore his Sonata and music inspired by Debussy. With firm audience favourites by Debussy, Ravel and Mathias plus a new commission by York-based composer David Lancaster, composed during the first Pandemic lockdown in 2020.
Programme:
Reynaldo Hahn: Sonatine
David Lancaster: 'Before I sleep, the city... again...' (2020). Inspired by the empty streets of York during the first UK lockdown in the Pandemic. It uses the amazing acoustics of St James's Church to explore sounds for flute, harp and viola.
