The Old Laboratory

This beautiful Arts and Crafts style, Grade II-listed building is the
symbolic core of the Wisley landscape. As the home of RHS Science for over a
century, the Old Laboratory was instrumental in Wisley’s mission to conduct
practical scientific research into ornamental horticulture, and to provide training
for student gardeners. That role has been taken over by RHS Hilltop: The Home
of Gardening Science. The Old Laboratory has been renovated and welcomes visitors to share its stories. Check out the latest exhibition when you visit to the Old Laboratory, which is free with your garden admission.
