Family Fundraiser Event at Chorley Panthers Rugby Club

Charity fundraiser taking place on 22nd August, which will be held at Chorley Panthers ARLFC, raising vital funds to help us continue the work of one of our valued staff members who sadly passed away.

Before his death, he asked that we continue the work he was so passionate about -supporting men’s mental health. In his memory, we are raising funds to continue his legacy through a men’s mental health programme he began, called Empowerment.

Empowerment was created to provide men with a safe, supportive space to talk openly, build resilience, and develop tools to manage their mental health and wellbeing. The programme has already had a meaningful impact, and this fundraiser will allow us to continue delivering this work in his honour.

Our service is delivered by trained Peer Support Workers and SMI Workers, who work directly with individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Using lived experience, compassion, and practical support, our team helps people build confidence, reduce isolation, and develop tools to manage their mental health and improve their overall wellbeing.

Any support, no matter the size, would make a genuine difference and help ensure this important work can continue.

All funds raised will go directly towards delivering the Empowerment programme and supporting men who need access to mental health support within our community.
