Then step aboard Murder on the Railway — a fully immersive murder mystery evening combining live theatre, a heritage train journey, and a relaxed social experience with friends.

Set within our beautifully restored Continental Carriages — as seen in ITV’s Murder on the Orient Express — this is an evening of intrigue, entertainment and indulgence.

Your Evening

From the moment you arrive, the story begins.

• 17:30 – Check-in opens
• 18:00 – Characters begin to greet you and set the scene
• 18:15 – Boarding begins
• 18:30 (approx.) – Train departs and the mystery unfolds

The remainder of the performance takes place on board the train, with scenes playing out within the carriages and select moments where smaller groups may be invited to the bar area as part of the experience.

Throughout the evening, you will investigate the crime, question suspects and piece together the clues — all while enjoying a relaxed and social atmosphere.

The evening concludes at approximately 21:30, when the mystery is solved and the winning team is announced, receiving a small prize (typically a bottle of prosecco, wine or an NVR gift pack of beer).

About the Experience

Murder on the Railway is a fully interactive and carefully scripted murder mystery, brought to life by a professional cast of actors. Every line, movement and moment has been designed to deliver a compelling and entertaining evening, while still allowing for audience interaction and improvisation.

As the story develops, you’ll examine evidence, interrogate suspects and work as a team to uncover the truth. Only one team will emerge victorious — so sharp thinking and careful note-taking are essential.
