A magical festive experience with Thomas

Step into a world of festive wonder as Thomas takes you on a special journey along his Christmas Branch Line from Wansford to Yarwell and back.

This approximately 2-hour experience combines a magical train ride, festive activities, and a visit from Santa Claus, creating the perfect Christmas outing for families.

Your Experience

Your visit begins at our heritage booking office, where you’ll receive your Golden Ticket and enter a festive setting complete with market cabins, seasonal treats, twinkling lights and festive characters.

Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa Claus and visit the festive post office, where Santa’s postal workers will prepare it ready for posting.

Enjoy time in our marqueed area, with photo opportunities and a chance to meet Mrs Claus, before boarding your train.

Once on board, relax as Thomas takes you on a short journey along his branch line with an extended stop at Yarwell Station. Along the way, Santa’s elves will entertain you before Santa Claus visits every child at their seat, presenting a festive wish coin to exchange for a gift after your journey at one of Santa's Toy Shops.

What’s Included

• Approximately 1 to 2 hour festive experience
• You will be on the train for approximately 50 minutes behind Thomas; around 30 minutes of this will be stationary at Yarwell Station while Santa gives out his Festive Wish Coins
• Santa's elves providing entertainment on board the train
• Meet Santa Claus on board
• Bring a letter to Santa Claus, have it franked at Santa's Post Office, and then you can post it in one of his post boxes
