Summer Festival at High Street

Risborough Festival Week will take place from Saturday, July 4th to Saturday, July 11th, 2026 and includes over 70 events throughout the week for the community to enjoy.

The week-long celebrations will culminate in the much-anticipated annual Street Festival, taking place on Saturday, 11th July. Princes Risborough’s High Street will come alive with vibrant entertainment, a wide variety of community stalls, and a fantastic display of community spirit, promising a day of fun for all ages.

No Risborough Street Festival would be complete without a visit to the beach, and this year is no exception! The much-loved pop-up beach is returning to Market Square, bringing a taste of the seaside to the heart of the town. Proudly sponsored by Local Car and Van Rental, a valued local business on Bell Street, this popular attraction is sure to delight. So, grab your bucket and spade, slip on your flip-flops, and get ready for some beachside fun!

What would a trip to the beach be without the chance to sit back and relax in a classic striped deckchair? We are therefore pleased to announce that deckchairs will once again be available alongside the beach and in front of the stage, kindly sponsored by Hazlemere, a local business with over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality home improvements.

As you explore the range of stalls along the High Street, keep an eye out for vibrant stilt walkers adding colour, energy, and charm to the festival atmosphere. Their appearance is kindly sponsored by playground equipment supplier Caloo and Longwick-based business Lewis Fencing and Turf, an established and well-respected supplier of quality fencing & turf, covering Princes Risborough and the surrounding areas. From 4:00pm onwards, Bucks Bear will also be making a special appearance, with thanks to the support of Bucks Radio. Don’t miss the chance to stop for a photo and share a smile with these much-loved festival favourites!

Get into the festival spirit with fabulous, festival-themed face painting. From 1:00pm to 6:00pm, the talented team from Sunday’s Faces will be offering free face painting. This activity is proudly sponsored by Aircon Services, a local company based at Summerleys Road Business Park, specialising in professional air conditioning solutions for businesses.

Adding a touch of magic to this year’s festivities, a giant bubble artist will captivate audiences with mesmerising displays of shimmering bubbles drifting through the summer air. This attraction is proudly sponsored by Kingshills Estate Agents, an innovative estate agency offering sales, lettings, and property management services across Buckinghamshire.

Returning to entertain crowds this year is Smartie Artie, whose unique blend of puppetry, magic and comedy is always a hit. Roaming throughout the event between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm, Smartie Artie will delight visitors with a series of humorous skits, interactive performances and clever tricks, bringing plenty of laughter and fun to the day’s celebrations. These performances are sponsored by T&D Electrical, a well-established electrical installation company based in Buckinghamshire.

The main stage will be set against the backdrop of the iconic Market House building. Throughout the afternoon, attendees can enjoy a lineup of entertainment, including performances by local schools, performing arts students, and live sets from The Cherry Valentines, Kiera Gabrielle, and Obviously Aliens.

The steel band will once again bring its uplifting rhythms to the High Street. Festival-goers are invited to relax and soak up the sun while enjoying the soothing sounds of the steel drums—an atmosphere that captures the true spirit of summer.
