Our three or four night Christmas House Party commences on either the 23rd or 24th December providing a complete festive experience from the moment you arrive, with first class service matched by a real sense of festive fun. The 2026 festive season promises to be one to remember.

23rd December
Arrive at your leisure, check into your luxurious accommodation and the afternoon is yours to explore the 186 acre estate or maybe enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the Country Club & Spa, where a wide selection of treatments are available (pre-booking is essential). A delightful dinner is served in the festive setting of the Anderida Restaurant which can be followed by a night-cap in the Cocktail Bar or cozy lounges with a warm glow from the open log fires.

24th December
The day starts with a hearty breakfast for those who joined us on the 23rd, followed by a morning at leisure or maybe a trip to the historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells for those last minute gifts. Or if checking in, arrive at your leisure, giving yourself plenty of time to explore the hotel and wider estate, although wellington boots are recommended. If your rooms are not yet available the Concierge team will be delighted to take care of your luggage and deliver it when ready. Afternoon Tea will be served in the elegant lounges giving you the opportunity to catch up with friends, family and loved ones. The evening begins with a Champagne and canapé reception in the lounges, accompanied by our carol singers in the Front Hall spreading the traditional Christmas cheer and festive good tidings to all. Dinner will be served in the Anderida Restaurant, followed by a televised Midnight Mass with hot toddies and mince pies. Alternatively, Midnight Mass at Holy Trinity Church in Forest Row is available for those who wish to attend.

Christmas Day
After waking early to the excitement of finding out what Father Christmas has delivered, take a leisurely breakfast then enjoy a traditional Christmas Day with a stroll through the woods, reading on the sofa or maybe a family board game by the fire. Whatever it is you do, tea, coffee, mulled wine and mince pies are available in the lounges throughout the day. Lunch, a lavish festive buffet, is available from mid-day in the elegant Richard Towneley Suite, our magnificent early 20th century chapel built by the Order of Notre Dame and adorned with some of the finest examples of Harry Clarke stained glass windows. Our jazz trio play throughout to add a little extra Christmas spirit. For those wanting to walk off lunch, try our estate treasure hunt, perfect for exploring the grounds and earning prizes. Alternatively, take a little peace and quiet in the comfort of your own room or maybe relax in the lounge with tea and Christmas cake where the King’s Christmas speech will be shown. The festivities of the day culminate with Champagne and canapés in the lounges before enjoying a delectable four-course Christmas dinner in the Anderida Restaurant.

Boxing Day
After breakfast, gather with us for a day of cherished family moments, where a variety of country pursuits await on the lawns. Clay pigeon shooting, archery and falconry displays are available throughout the morning, there’s something for everyone. Alternatively, unwind with a rejuvenating walk on the estate and wider Ashdown Forest, or visit the Country Club for a gentle swim. Lunch will once again be a sumptuous buffet served in the Richard Towneley Suite. In the afternoon, put your knowledge to the test with our family quiz, featuring questions suitable for all ages. Afterwards, enjoy tea and hot crumpets served in the lounges. As evening falls, savour Champagne and canapés in the lounges and Cocktail Bar before a gourmet feast in the Anderida Restaurant. Finish off the day with excitement at our fun casino in the Cocktail Bar and Snooker Room, accompanied by live jazz. It’s the perfect conclusion to our Festive House Party, ensuring lasting memories of holiday joy
