BRAINTREE VILLAGE’S ICE RINK RETURNS THIS CHRISTMAS at Callum

Braintree Village has announced that its ice rink is set to return for a fourth season next month as part of the Essex-based outlet village’s Christmas celebrations, with tickets on sale now.

Set to create an enchanting environment for guests to enjoy, the 775 square metre ice rink will be entirely undercover, making it suitable for all weathers.

The ice rink will open to the public on Thursday 12th November, and run until Sunday 3rd January, offering more than seven weeks of skating over the entire festive season.

Offering guests the perfect activity come rain, snow or shine, the rink will be open throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with pre-bookable 45-minute sessions and skate hire included.

Featuring real ice, and designed and installed by Icescape, the custom-built ice rink will be located adjacent to the top of the North Car Park. The rink will return with its regular Friday Disco Nights, 2-for-1 skates, plus special Parent & Toddler and Quiet Sessions.

Adding to the festive line-up, Braintree Village will host weekly Skate & Sing events every Wednesday throughout the season, with sessions taking place at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Alternating between two exciting themes each week, guests can choose from family-friendly Kids Pop sessions packed with chart-topping singalongs and colourful entertainment, or 80s & 90s parties celebrating iconic throwback hits. Featuring live music, themed performers, interactive games including Finish the Lyrics and lip-sync battles, giveaways and photo opportunities, Skate & Sing promises an unforgettable experience both on and off the ice for skaters of all ages.

Skaters and spectators will be able to warm up after their session in one of Braintree Village’s eateries, as well as finding the very best Christmas gifts at more than 70 premium brands offering up to 60% off RRP.
