Westwood Cross Hosting Spook-tacular Pumpkin Carving Sessions for Halloween at Westwood Cross

Families in Thanet are invited to enjoy a spooky activity together this October half-term, with pumpkin-carving sessions taking place at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs on Tuesday 27 October.

The shopping centre will open the doors of its new events hub next to Hotel Chocolat for the dedicated sessions, giving families the chance to get creative in the spirit of Halloween. Tickets are now available to book online.

For one day only, guests can take part in a guided 45-minute session, with all the tools provided to create their own gourd-geous pumpkin creation to take home ready for Halloween on 31 October.

There will be four sessions available to book throughout the day with tickets priced at £5 per person via Eventbrite. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, only one adult permitted to attend per child.

Session times:

• 10am–10:45am
• 11am–11:45am
• 12pm–12:45pm
• 1pm–1:45pm

As well as pumpkin carving, guests can enjoy other family-friendly activities, including balloon modelling, family magic, and free face painting, making for a complete fun day out at the shopping centre.

Fran Donovan, Centre Director at Westwood Cross, said: “This October half-term, Westwood Cross will be alive with the spirit of Halloween as we welcome families to our pumpkin-carving sessions. We expect the sessions to be popular, so we encourage guests to book their tickets as early as possible.

“We’re looking forward to seeing everyone get creative, enjoy the entertainment and take home a unique Halloween decoration of their own. With family-friendly activities, fantastic shopping and leisure options throughout the centre, it promises to be a fun-filled day for everyone.”
