Winter Wonderland Norwich at Royal Norfolk Showground

from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.
With free entry and free parking, guests can enjoy sparkling lights,
festive food and Christmas shopping, then choose from ice skating, fairground
thrills and a visit to Father Christmas. All the family are welcome with
something for everyone to come along to soak up the Christmas atmosphere and
build a festive day out their way.

Wrap up warm and discover a world of seasonal excitement. Take a spin on
thrilling fairground rides and roller coasters, enjoy gentler adventures with
the little ones, or lace up your skates and glide across the huge undercover
real ice rink on almost 1,000m² of real ice beneath a covered outdoor
structure. First-time skaters and confident gliders alike can share the fun

Journey to the North Pole Illuminated is new for 2026
and brings an extra helping of wonder to visits. Follow
glowing Christmas scenes and discover sparkling displays to a spectacular
25-metre life-size illuminated steam train at the heart of your journey. Open
every event day from dusk, this separately ticketed attraction gives families
and friends a fresh reason to visit after dark as you share a magical Christmas
experience.

There’s plenty to enjoy at a slower pace, too, browse the Christmas market cabins
and find a gift with a personal touch where independent traders offer
handcrafted ornaments, artisanal crafts, bespoke jewellery, cosy winterwear and
personalised keepsakes beneath twinkling lights. Toast marshmallows and tuck
into delicious festive food, such as Yorkshire pudding wraps, freshly made
stone-baked pizzas, German sausages, or juicy smashed burgers and loaded fries.
