Learn all about the ancient art of falconry and get the chance to put on the glove and try it for yourself. When you arrive at the hotel, get refreshed with tea or coffee and a bacon roll. Afterwards, head to the centre for a tour and get close to various species. An experienced handler will verse you in the history, training and maintenance of the birds and get you handling them to make sure you're comfortable. Moving on to actually flying the birds, you'll be amazed by the skill and speed of the predators. After this, go on a woodland 'hawk walk' with either Harris hawks or Red-tailed hawks and learn more about training falcons, while watching a trained falcon soar in a wild flower meadow
