Chessgrove Shoot is on a working Gloucestershire farm, and we still grow cereals and keep livestock, as well as our clay pigeon shooting and simulated game shooting. Steve Batt has many years shooting experience and a flair for providing shooting tuition. We believe that flexibility is the key to our success and we welcome individuals and groups of all sizes and experience for just an hour or two or a full day.

Chessgrove Shoot believe that every client is an individual. Tell us what you would like, and we will arrange your day to suit you. We can tailor a package to suit every company's needs, even if your guests have never shot or handled a gun before. Up to 100 guests can enjoy a days shooting in the wonderful Royal Forest of Dean. We offer full or half days, and during the summer we also offer evening shoots. Catering can be arranged, and refreshments provided.

Sitting on the borders of the Royal Forest of Dean in Glorious Gloucestershire countryside, Chessgrove Shoot is a perfect place to enjoy a day's clay pigeon shooting. All parties are fully supervised as we like to give personal attention to our guests to make sure you enjoy your day in perfect safety.

If you have never fired a gun before, no need to worry. We will soon have you feeling comfortable with the gun, and we will show you how to safely bag those clay pigeons, or game.

Lessons

Steve Batt is a highly competent shooting coach of many years experience. He is able to give advice and training to the novice shooter or to the experienced game shooter. Guns, cartridges and clays are all provided under friendly supervision, and of course you are fully insured all the time you spend at Chessgrove Shoot. We like to provide all our guests with personal attention, and full supervision helps to ensure you can enjoy your day in safety.
