Bushcraft and Survival

Close To The Edge is well equipped to deliver Bushcraft and survival training either as a standalone experience, or as a specialist course or introduction to Expedition skills. Our courses are based at our Bushcraft site in mixed woodland, close to the Severn Valley in South Shropshire.

Our Bushcraft and Survival courses are led by experienced instructors who deliver well pitched instruction and experiential learning making your course an experience to remember! The course can be combined with some adventurous challenges and team development in the surrounding woodland.

Mobile Climbing Wall

The Closer to the Edge Mobile Wall is a 1-piece fibreglass 24ft wall with 4 auto-belay systems, guaranteed to make an impact at your event or as part of a Closer to the Edge Training Package which incorporates our other team-building activities.
