GwynneSPEED are a rally driving school based in the Gloucestershire area. Ideal for corporate events or as unique Christmas or birthday presents, activities take place in Down Ampney. Located between Swindon & Cirencester, GwynneSpeed delivers truly authentic Rally Driving Experiences utilising a purpose built, gravel rally stage.

Our mission from the start has been to deliver as an authentic an experience as is safely possibly and we have achieved this through the use of real rally school cars and instructors with real rally experience. This combination coupled with the use of a 100% gravel surface enables us to deliver stacks of driving fun and the possibility to really give the drivers the opportunity to push the limits and try techniques that they would only otherwise be able to try on the PlayStation! Typical techniques which are taught include handbrake turns, power slides, oversteer and using the back end of the car to steer as well as flicking the car into and out of corners sideways.

We are one of the only rally schools in the UK to carry full insurance for Timed Lap competition and so the drivers also get the chance to put their newly found skills to the test when the stop watches come out....Great fun with stag/hen parties or company group bookings.

The cars we have chosen are surprisingly fun as well. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that the only car suitable for rallying is a Subaru Impreza or Mitsubishi Evolution - they are much heavier and far less nimble than the Peugeot 106 Rallyes which we use and so the 106 Rallyes may look standard and slow but they are anything but! They are currently used in International rallying and regularly still win their class, proving their fantastic rallying credentials. Their fantastically responsive handling & outstanding traction & acceleration make them ideal for lots of sliding and generally having stacks of fun!!

Cotswold Off-Road
Explore one of the stunning Cotswold Water Park lakes whilst encountering near vertical ascents and descents, axle twisters and many other typical off road driving techniques.  Using one of our adapted off road driving vehicles your heart will be in your mouth as you teeter over the edge of Copse Gulley ready for a 2:1 descent and then can you keep your calm as the vehicle traverses Lakeside Ridge almost on 2 wheels!  Visit www.cotswold-off-road.co.uk for full details about this course which is available for jut £90.
