Learn how to make a silver ring from scratch to your own design and take it home to treasure. After some tea, coffee or juice on arrival, the tutor will talk through the running of the day and introduce you all to some ring samples to look at. The tools and equipment will then be fully explained before each participant goes on to size, design and actually make a ring using silversmithing techniques. The material used is called PMC, which stands for precious metal clay. It is in fact a form of fine silver and can later be hallmarked. While everyone goes out for lunch (not included), the rings are fired. That only leaves the polishing to be done before you can proudly place the ring on your finger
