Explore Off-Road are based on the Cheshire / Staffordshire border 5 minutes from junction 16 of the M6 motorway. We provide a range of courses for every off-road situation and ability. Our off-road 4x4 driver training is ideal for private individuals, commercial organisations, team building exercises and corporate groups.

About Us
Explore Off-Road are a BORDA (British Off-Road Driving Association) registered company. We provide a range of courses for every off-road situation and ability. Our off-road sites are designed to be challenging but safe, during your stay with us you will have 100% instructor supervision at all times. You have the choice of using your own 4 x 4 or one provided by the centre. Our instructors have over 40 years experience in handling off-road vehicles.

Off Road Driving Courses
We provide a range of BORDA courses for any requirements. If you have not owned or driven a four wheel drive vehicle before you may start with a 1 hour “taster” session that will give you an insight into how the vehicles four wheel drive system works, basic off-road driving techniques, the vehicles capabilities and more importantly it’s limitations. Should you wish to broaden your knowledge we have a range of courses to suit your needs. Basic Off-Road Driving, Advanced Off-Road Driving, Vehicle recovery (including the use of high lift jacks, power winches, hand winches, recovery by towing, etc.

Pay and Play
As well as our Off-Road site we also have a pay and play site located in Silverdale, Keele. For just £25 you can tackle the extreme terrain alone for a full day. The site contains woodlands, steep hills, water, and lots of mud; it's not recommended for shiny new vehicles and is definitely not for the faint hearted! (Road taxed vehicles only.)

Catering is available on site but feel free to bring your own food along with you.

Off Road Adventures
Explore Off-Road run overland adventures on vehicular rights of way that have been researched with the help of the local councils, ancient maps and modern ordnance survey maps. The duration of these adventures may be from 1 day to 14 days or longer depending on the location. During your adventure you will travel amidst stunning scenery and experience nature and all her changing moods and faces. You will be accompanied and guided by one of our instructors in a fully equipped vehicle, he will be happy to assist you should it become necessary.

Over the years we have gained a vast knowledge of vehicular rights of way throughout the length and breadth of the country, this knowledge allows us to plan routes to suit all vehicles including expensive new vehicles.
