The Glasgow Climbing Centre opened its doors in 1994. Since then it has amassed over 50,000 members. Whether you are a regular climber looking for a training facility, or someone who has never tried climbing before, the Glasgow Climbing Centre has something for everyone.

Birthday Parties

All equipment hire (helmet, harness, shoes) and entry into the centre is included in the price. All you need to do is turn up with your party in loose fitting comfortable clothes, with long hair tied back and no jewellery on hands or wrists.

If you’ve been to a birthday party at the Glasgow Climbing Centre before and want to try something even more different then contact us and ask about abseiling! The centre is based in an old church where we have a spire which you can abseil from if you’re keen! Contact the centre to enquire about incorporating this into your session.

Group Taster

Never been climbing before but would like to try it? Then the Group Taster Session is the way to go. During this session our instructor(s) will encourage you all to climb, letting you experience the feeling of being in a harness, climbing walls, being lowered back down and belaying (holding the rope for the person climbing).

Corporate Groups

Climbing is perfect for team building activities. The nature of the sport means you have to trust the people you are climbing with, as they literally have your life in their hands! During this session our instructor(s) will encourage you all to climb, letting you experience the feeling of being in a harness, climbing walls, being lowered back down and belaying (holding the rope for the person climbing).
