Manchester Climbing Centre is one of the largest climbing walls in Europe . Set in the unique surroundings of St Benedict's Church just outside the centre of Manchester & within easy reach of Stockport, Wilmslow, Macclesfield and the rest of Cheshire & Lancashire. The climbing lines and bouldering areas are among the area’s finest indoor climbing resource. Whether complete beginner or experienced rock legend we have plenty of scope for you to climb in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.

Climbing corporate events whether indoor or outdoor, are thrilling and stimulating activities that are both physically active and mentally challenging. By its nature, climbing demands high levels of trust and co-operation from participants which builds a strong bond of confidence and team spirit. Strong communication skills are required from all involved in order to develop trust and reliance on team members, and to offer support and advice to the individual climbing. It is an opportunity to see others in a completely new situation, which requires mental concentration as well as physical action.

Birthday Parties

Climbing birthday parties are an exciting alternative to a traditional kids party that will keep your youngsters and their friends talking for weeks! We provide group climbing sessions for children, consisting of an hour and a half’s climbing with a professional instructor followed by kids’ party food catered by the Base Camp Cafe!

Manchester Kids Climbing Clubs

Manchester Climbing Centre has lots on offer to Manchester kids all year round! NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme) courses are give you the chance to gain certificates in a series of fun sessions. These courses coincide as much as possible with school terms and holidays. We believe this structured approach enables us to offer a fulfilling and productive session while still keeping a fun and light-hearted approach.
