During the summer months, Norfolk Fishing Trips & Charter are based at Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk coast, an area with a long maritime tradition. The Brancaster Bay area is rich in wildlife which can be seen on the 10 minute ferry ride to the Katie Louise and there are many unspoilt beaches that rate among the best in the UK.

Each winter we move to Lowestoft Marina. This allows us to maximise the daylight hours without being restricted by the tide. The Marina is well-known for its excellent facilities and the town of Lowestoft has much to offer the visitor.

The Boat

Our luxury catamaran Katie Louise was custom-built for Norfolk Fishing Trips in 2006. With a length of 12m and 5.2m beam she is as much as 40 times more stable than mono-hulled vessels making her safe and enjoyable for all.

The Food

Almost any food can be catered for but we must know your requirements in advance. Obviously we cannot take impromptu orders for a mixture of dishes once we have left harbour so it's important to organise the food when you book. During a summer trip of eight hours you can enjoy a summer buffet-lunch, during the winter months, a good old-fashioned roast is perfect.

Your skipper is well-known in the area as a talented chef specialising in local produce and seafood.
