The River & Rowing Museum offers a highly unusual modern function venue.
A stunning building designed by award-winning architect David Chipperfield the Museum is situated overlooking Henley's picturesque water meadows and river.
The combination of oak-clad upper walls and large glass windows afford magnificent views of its riverside setting.The galleries and conference rooms are designed to create a spectacular feeling of light and air.
The Museum is fully equipped with the latest audio visual presentation equipment and offers an excellent catering service from our on-site caterers Digby Trout Restaurants.
The Museum has two dedicated function rooms plus opportunities for Gallery use.
Weddings
The Museum is a wonderful location for a Wedding party
There are a variety of options available for weddings, large or small, all in the unique Museum environment alongside the river with beautiful views and stunning architecture.
Rowing Gallery - An unusual setting for a drinks reception or sit down dinner amongst historic artifacts in an inspirational space.
Thames Room - with space for 100 guests and views to river and meadows, this room is a beautiful setting. The Thames Room also has it's own private terrace.
In addition to these two spaces you can use a combination of rooms and galleries to create a truly special party.

Corporate Hire The Museum is a fantastic venue for a variety of corporate uses.
Most daytime functions can be accommodated under the Day Delegate rate, other rates are available here. The Museum has two dedicated meeting rooms, the Thames Room and the Henley Room. The Rowing Gallery is available primarily for evening events, please ask for further information if you are interested in using the Gallery during the day. |

Team Building
Wildgoose Treasure Hunts offer team building treasure hunts around Henley or in the Museum itself. The activity ranges from 1hour for a Museum based treasure hunt up to three hours exploring Henley by land and water.
