South West Karting is Somerset’s Number One Outdoor Karting experience. Having over 20 years of Indoor Karting experience, we have now been operating our outdoor circuit since early 2016. We’ve got something for everyone from as young as 6 years old and all abilities. The Haynes outdoor track is located next to the newly re-developed and iconic, Haynes International Motor Museum, at Sparkford near Yeovil. The 480 metre track, petrol karts and blend of fast sweeping bends allows guests to race as fast as they like, or at a leisurely pace, making southwest Karting Haynes a perfect teambuilding location for both private parties and corporate events.

South West Karting’s track is based on the Haynes International Motor Museums’ Test track, which provides fast straights as well as tight technical chicanes and corners, similar to those found on a Formula 1 track. No matter how fast you want to drive, it’s sure to get the heart racing!

Utilising top-class Karts overseen by our technical wizards, you’ll be able to race against friends, colleagues and family, reaching speeds of up to 45mph in a safe and friendly environment.

New for 2019, we have a couple of side-by-side 270cc twin seater Karts, able to be driven by anyone aged 18 or over, with a passenger of at least 6 years old. Perfect for the younger ones or disabled who are unable to drive themselves.
