4x4 Off Road Driving
Wallowing through deep mud & water, ascending impossibly steep climbs, creeping over breathtaking crests - you'll do it all and more behind the wheel of our amazing brand new 4x4's. Our vehicles seat up to 6 people along with an instructor, you will always have sole use, you will not have to share, less of course you want to bring friends or family to join the fun!

Quad Bike Safari
Our quad bike safaris have been designed to teach the balance and control needed to navigate across any type of terrain, with the emphasis firmly on fun - those who show a real flair for our 400cc Can Am quads can test themselves on the same course on which we let our Land Rovers loose!

Clay Pigeon Shooting
There can be few experiences like blowing whizzing clays out of the sky with a high powered shotgun! Whether the clay pigeon is coming at you from the left, from the right, or even straight over your head, as long as your reactions and wits are about you, you'll be having a blast! The shooting school consists of competition-standard range and equipment, where our expert tutors will take novices through every aspect of clay pigeon shooting, and experienced guns can perfect their craft with the very best advice. We have 24 different traps to challenge you.

Segway
You’ve never experienced anything like the Segway! You may have seen the Segway on television shows or on holiday in America, but now you can experience it for yourself, right here at Yorkshire Outdoors. The Segway is a mode of transport which defies gravity and after a short but comprehensive safety briefing and instructions on the controls; you’re off riding on your own Segway! You can even go off road on our custom made course. If it's fun you're looking for, then you'll find our custom course and games just up your street that we guarantee you will leave the Segway experience with a smile on your face.

Flying Experiences
Get strapped in to your aircraft, and fly around the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. During the flight, you will be taught the basics of controlling an aircraft, and offered the opportunity to take the controls and fly the aircraft yourself. Your instructor will supervise and provide coaching, and ensure your safety throughout the flight.

Our route will typically take us towards the North York Moors at an altitude of 2-3000 ft.

During a flight we would typically fly across the moors to Helmsley, and return via the famous White Horse at Kilburn. In 60 minutes, we could fly over Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey, Byland Abbey, Helmsley Castle, the North York Moors Railway, and some of the beautiful Moors villages, hills and vales. Or we might head out to Harrogate, Ripon, Leyburn and into James Herriot country the Yorkshire Dales.

On a clear day, there will be spectacular views of the Yorkshire coastline, the Pennines, and the Vale of York. We may even get amongst some cloud formations.
