We are excited to offer a variety of spaces suitable for hosting a range of events. Our four auditoria, with capacities up to 294 guests, are perfect for theatre-style meetings, presentations, AGMs and conferences, offering high quality digital screens, staging, AV equipment and professional projection - all included in the cost of the room hire. And with the tiered seating, which allows the best possible view for all attendees of a large cinema screen, you will know that whatever your message, none of your guests will miss out.
Add to this our breakout spaces for small numbers, gallery for cocktails and canapés and Red Room for dining or networking, and you have a selection of spaces that provide flexibility on function, style and cost.
Don't forget, you can also privately hire any of these areas for celebrations, such as birthdays, anniversaries, hen / stag parties and of course, children’s parties.
So if you're looking to make an impact, whether it’s a work-related event or a private gathering, Hackney Picturehouse is the venue of choice.

The Picturehouse has a wide range of facilities to suit your private hire and conferencing needs. The auditoria accommodate a large number of people and are ideal for presentations, product launches, lectures, AGMs or business meetings. Our projection facilities enable film or video presentation and the screens are ideal for Powerpoint or slide displays.
School Screening & Events
We believe that film and cinema have an increasingly important role to play within the National Curriculum, aiding pupils’ learning and development throughout their formal education.
Our education team work closely with teachers and Local Education Authorities to deliver a year-round, diverse programme of screenings, talks and workshops, all carefully designed to complement the National Curriculum at different levels and develop young people’s cine-literacy skills.
