Exeter city centre, with its fine shopping and many ancient buildings, including its Roman walls and 12th Century Cathedral, is a short walk away.

We have 98 bedrooms, including Suites; we also have 10 meeting rooms. Exeter is a popular choice for business meetings, and with our largest room seating 300 people theatre style, we’re also one of the city’s leading wedding venues.

Exeter can be easily explored on foot, so you can safely leave the car in our on-site parking, available at an additional charge.

Mercure Exeter The Rougemont Hotel is one of our area’s prime locations for conferences and business meetings. We are conveniently located in the City centre with easy access to Exeter Central Station and the main M5. Parking for 26 cars is available on site, with additional parking located close by.

We have 11 meeting rooms, all offering plenty of natural light to create a comfortable, productive environment. Our largest room, the Devonshire Suite seats up to 320 theatre style and is also ideal for banqueting. We have 9 smaller rooms suitable for seminars, team briefings and board meetings, plus break-out areas where you can stretch your legs, chat informally and catch up on your messages.
