The course talks about how feelings and thoughts are imprisoned in a cycle of suffering and how through meditation theses feelings can be released.
Gen la Kelsang Thubten has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for nearly 40 years and is greatly admired for his inspirational teachings and his skill in showing how to integrate Buddha's advice into daily life. During the course he will show how through meditating on the 4 close placements of mindfulness, we are led to the profound realisation of emptiness through which we gain release from the prison of mistaken appearance and conception.
The course will entail teachings, meditations and discussions and the price of £25.00 includes a light lunch.
