Bingo by Edward Bond

Company of Ten will be presenting Bingo at Abbey Theatre St. Albans, a drama about Shakespeare’s last days. The play by Edward Bond is a political drama based on historical fact that Shakespeare signed a contract to protect his own land while allowing the enclosure of common land. As his health declines, his guilt affects his attitude to his plays and his relationship with his daughter Judith.
